Levi’s Birthday

We celebrated Levi’s 6th Birthday at Pizza Ranch. We invited Grandpa & Grandma V.E. and all the Uncles, Aunts, and cousins to come too!

We had such an enjoyable, relaxing time together. After everyone had eaten their fill of pizza, we sang “Happy Birthday” to Levi…IMG_5442…and let him blow out his candle.IMG_5443

Levi has loved parrots for a while now, so we chose that for the theme of his birthday dessert this year. He helped me choose a bunch of neat pictures of parrots off of the internet, which we laminated and placed on each frosted cupcake…easy-peasy! :) IMG_5435IMG_5439

He enjoyed reading some special cards, especially this hilarious one from Uncle Paul and Auntie Erin’s family…it had a cute little monkey on it that sang a silly birthday song for him! :)

Kara drew him a picture of a “mean pirate” that was slipped inside this card as well…so cute! IMG_5453

He enjoyed opening so many nice presents…”Go Fish”, a set of stencils, and some various sea animals (whales, sharks, dolphins). Thanks so much for the presents! Levi loves them so much!

Levi wanted to hop in the bath right after we got home that night, to check out all the new fish that he got!

He had been asking for a parrot for about two years now…he was finally given one by Grandpa and Grandma D.J.

There was no way that we were going to get a real bird at this point, but as you can tell from the following pictures, I don’t think he minded at all that this one was stuffed!

Say “hi” to ‘Captain’ (It took Levi a full two days to come up with a perfect name for this guy).IMG_5484

Happy 6th Birthday, Levi! We love you so much!
