Kate had Kindergarten Round-Up almost 3 weeks ago…I know, I’m really behind with getting posts on here!
We started out with Mrs. Van Den Top opening with prayer and then watching a presentation given by the Kindergarten – 2nd grade.
Mrs. Van Den Top had the 1st and 2nd graders leave the room and then read The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle to the Kindergarten class and soon-to-be Kindergarteners. Afterwards she closed the book and then had the kids try to remember how many and in what order the caterpillar ate all his food before going into a cocoon.
The kids all went over to a big table and worked on a few crafts together. All of the crafts were geared towards the theme of The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
It was so neat being able to watch Levi, his sister, and a couple of his cousins all working around that table together!
When all of the crafts were finished, we enjoyed a treat of some adorable cupcakes (made by Auntie Erin) and some juice.

Wow, these our kids are growing up fast! Hard to believe that we will have a Kindergartener and 1st Grader next year!
What a fun afternoon it was! Kate is so thrilled to go to Kindergarten next year and loves the kids in her class! We are so blessed to be able to send her there and are so thankful that she will be given a covenant education.
