Or Lexi, for short.
'Jersey' is her mother's name, 'Jasmine' is the dog that Joel grew up with, and we wanted to name her 'Lexi', but 'Alexandra' just seemed to fit with the other two names.
She's a sweet little girl, but as all puppies are, she's a lot of work.
Lexi is a fairly fast learner, but she likes to test the rules.
We are trying to potty train her right now, due to the fact that she's only 8 weeks old and it's too chilly outside to keep her out there. It's been getting better each day, and really she's only had a few accidents lately, but so far it's like having another baby in the house that I have to watch all the time, so that she doesn't pee all over my kitchen floor!
Levi especially loves her to pieces though, and it gives him a playmate with seemingly endless amounts of energy!* She is an English Springer Spaniel, so she'll potentially be a good hunting dog for Joel next winter.

ReplyDeleteI think 3 names is standard for purebred/registered dogs. Our "Molly" is actually Dakota Molly Mae. : )
