…the ice starts melting and things get muddy.
So do kids and dogs. Tuesday was an absolutely gorgeous 70 degree day. Levi played outside in the mud puddles and on the melting ice for hours. Lexi bounded along beside him the entire time, splattering mud all over Levi and herself.
I didn’t snap any pictures of Kate, but she loved it outside as well. While I vacuumed and cleaned out the interior of our van, she wandered around our garage looking for treasures and exploring nearly every nook and cranny she could reach.
Except for during our walk to the library after lunch, Moriah also missed out on the nice weather by taking a huge, but much needed nap.
By the time supper came, Levi and Kate were both so dirty that we had to postpone supper for a bit and the kids had to take a good bath! I should also mention that our outdoor fun ended abruptly when Levi took a spill on the ice and looked like he had taken a mud bath!
