Bridges: Backyard fun!

Kate and Moriah love playing in the playhouse!

Lexi can usually be found nearby, just waiting for the one of the kids to give her some attention!

Lexi hasn’t been as hyper around the kids this summer. She seems to be acting less and less like a crazy, attention starved puppy like she used to. She still gets excited whenever we come out to play though. Just to be totally sure that Lexi isn’t going to jump by her, Moriah usually will tell Lexi off for a while before getting really close. “Lexi, sit!”…… “Lexi, lay down!”……“No jumping, Lexi!”.

While we all played, Joel was working hard picking beans. :)

…we canned 14 quarts of beans just from that first picking!

This picture of Levi and Moriah, standing in the corn, was taken about two weeks ago…if you look at our corn now, it has tassels and is growing a bunch of ears of corn…the corn should even be ready to eat really soon! We can’t wait!

This is a regular way for Levi and Moriah to swing…or maybe I should say “fly” on the swings.

Our neighbors (& friends from church) allow our kids to play on their swing-set and in their sandbox whenever they want to. So we take them up on that offer quite often. The kids love it and I don’t have to worry about them crossing the road to play in the park whenever I can’t get outside with them right away.
