Look who’s 2!

I can hardly believe my baby girl is already two! Sigh! Why do babies have to grow up so fast?! It seems like only yesterday that I was holding this little honey-girl as a sweet little baby in my arms.

Moriah sure is growing up to be such a beautiful, fun, little girl. We love her to pieces and she definitely makes us laugh! She pulls so many faces and has so many little phrases that she uses, that it’s really hard not to!

This is pretty much the only picture that turned out from our photo shoot….2 year olds are certainly full of energy and, as many of you know, are very hard to photograph!

Most of the time, if I’d say “Moriah, can you smile for Mama?” I’d end up with a forced smile like this…

She got very distracted…

“Mom, a botty bud (baahky bug)!”

This is what we call her “silly face”…she pulls this whenever she doesn’t want to do something, or whenever she knows she’s being naughty. It should be called her “naughty face”!

Oh Moriah, you can do so many things…you are growing so fast and learning so much.

You can wink…..you can do a summer-sault…..count to 13, only skipping 6….. you love to sing, especially “Twinkle, twinkle, little star - Uncle Kurt and Auntie Val” (a version sung by the kids at Kurt & Valen’s wedding)…..you can recite bits and pieces of Psalm 23 and Psalm 100…..you love baby dolls…..you call every baby (and any child under the age of 3) a “Baby boy!”…..you wave to everyone we pass in the store…..if you don’t want to do something, you’ll either give us your “silly face” or you’ll say “No, don’t want it!”…..you’re a little helper and you love helping Mom take care of baby Tyler…..you’ve gone potty on the potty 2 times…..you’re sleeping on the top bunk in your bunk bed…..for a while when I would ask “Moriah, how old are you?” you would say “Three!”, but in just the past week or two, you finally started replying with “Two!”…..you already love makeup, and go in Mom’s make-up drawer on a weekly, if not daily, basis…..you keep our life so busy, and yet we definitely wouldn’t have it any other way!

We love you so much Moriah! Happy 2^nd Birthday!
