A Night At The Symphony

This past Friday evening, Joel and I went out to eat at Minerva’s and then to the Christmas Symphony at the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls with Joey and Sherry. We had such a wonderful time!

The picture below is of the orchestra playing. The girl on stage in the red dress, is actually only 12 years old. She came out and played one number for the audience….I’m pretty sure she astounded everyone with her amazing talent on the violin.IMG_1235IMG_1215IMG_1214 3

I edited the picture of this beautiful couple shown below to make it look like the picture shown above….the lady in the background is a little distracting I think. :)IMG_1214 2

We spotted this little cutie and her family while we were there. I felt a little like the paparazzi while snapping pictures of her and her daddy without their knowledge!IMG_1218IMG_1226IMG_1228

One of the choir singers was hard to miss with her bright red hair. Very interesting.IMG_1231

I wish I would have taken pictures of our first snow fall of the season that occurred that afternoon/night. It sure was beautiful. The only picture I took while it was falling was of Levi, Kate, and Moriah staring at the big flakes falling past our living room window. (Yes, Levi is wearing shorts and a t-shirt in the middle of winter….he’s always hot, or at least he thinks so!)IMG_1208

Joey and Sherry, thanks for coming with us to make the experience even more special! Thanks Dean and Anna and Aunt Carlene for watching our kids for us! We really appreciated that!
