Here’s some Valentine’s that Levi and Kate handed out to the kids at their schools.
This treasure chests were for the boys in Levi’s class.
This school of fish was for the girls/teachers in Levi’s class.
These gummy bear ones were for Kate’s classmates.
In the evening we surprised Daddy with a special supper!
Uncle Phil was out from Illinois, so he joined us for candlelit supper, where we served BBQ pork roast, ranch mashed potatoes, corn, dinner rolls and jello. We also had wine glasses filled with red punch. I made mini cheesecakes for dessert. I think everyone was pretty stuffed afterwards.
After supper, Joel surprised me with a tiny box. It was a big surprise though! He gave me a beautiful heart necklace! How sweet and thoughtful that was!
The kids and I gave Joel a card that sang “I love you, a bushel and a peck…”, an updated photo of the kids for his office, and some heart shaped Reese's peanut butter cups.
It was a pretty fun day/evening!
Mom did some heart shaped braids in Kate’s hair for her Valentine’s Day party at school on Thursday morning. Kate loved them and didn’t take them out until Friday evening.
Her hair was pretty crazy after we took them out!
Here’s a close-up of the pictures we took for Joel.
Tyler was ready for a nap when we took these, so his fingers wouldn’t come out of his mouth…Oh well, I think he looks pretty cute that way!
We hope you had a special day as well!
Enjoyed this post, Michelle! Looks like you all had a really fun day!
