Ouchy!

This happened a couple of weeks ago. This was the first trip we have ever had to make to the emergency room.

Moriah tripped on our driveway and got a little gash on her forehead while playing outside one evening. This cut, even though it was little, was deep and wouldn’t stop bleeding. We also weren’t sure if there was any gravel in the wound, since we couldn’t get a good look into it due to all the seeping. Thankfully she didn’t end up needing any stitches, but instead the doctor just put a patch of adhesive over the wound to help keep it clean and make it stop seeping. That sloughed off after about 5 or 6 days, and the cut has been healing pretty well since then.

I’ve been waiting for something like this to occur. Moriah was definitely the one I would expect this to happen to. I’m really not trying to be mean, but just honest in saying that she’s our less “graceful” child, and is a little braver and more accident prone.
