That’s what Moriah calls her.
Levi and Kate refer to her as “Auntie Nae”.
I kind of would like to refer to her as my “Life saver”.
Boy, she was here at a time when I needed her help more than ever.
It’s been busy around here with these four little munchkins! With Lanae’s help, I actually felt like I could get a couple more things accomplished in a day…besides just my dishes, a load or two of laundry, and making sure I had supper ready on time.
She’s sure a gem of a gal!
We had Joel snap a few pictures of us after church one Sunday.
I know, this picture makes me look like I just ate some thing reeaallly sour, and Lanae looks like she’s trying to see her bottom lip which swelled up as big as a balloon.
Oh, boy!
I love that girl. We had her out here for a little over a month…it sure didn’t feel that way. Time flew by so quickly, just as it always does when you’re having fun!
Here’s a picture of all the kids with Lanae on the morning of her departure.

Lanae, if you’re reading this, thanks so much for all of your help. I appreciated it more than you could ever know. I’m glad you enjoyed your time out here and didn’t feel like you were living in a circus! We miss you and love you like crazy!
I loved talking to you and getting to know you more. You are growing up to be quite the mature young lady. God has really blessed you with a tender, loving heart. You have so much patience and joy in your attitude. What a beautiful young lady you are!
We love ya!
Love the pictures of you two! Pretty ladies who I have been blessed to call my sisters! :)
